They are not open on weekends and when I have a question about payments I have to pay another company 5 dollars just to check my money bad business... the money I paid Royal caribbean SAD I'm just trying to see was the email for me or did I need to disregard

Detailed and honest review of Serenade of the Seas.
1st experience with Serenade Seas and just got off the ship yesterday. My hubby got injured and was in a boot and we called weeks prior to see if they could help accommodate him so he wouldnt have to do as much walking from his room to elevators.
They said absolutely and we have the e-mail to confirm their willingness to work with us.
We got placed in the room furthest from the elevator on the absolute end of the hall.
It gets worse though because our room flooded and spelled like horrible mildew after we had already moved our stuff in and I had to sit outside in the hallway till they finally moved us at 11:45 PM cause the smell like wet dog messed with my asthma!
Who gets a room/floor flooded on a cruise ship!!!
They moved us at 11:45 to a room on the other end of the hall absolute furthest again from the elevators!!!
We had already talked to guest services before we knew of the flooding and they said they couldnt do anything for us.
We were so tired, so we just took the 2nd room.
The next day I approached guest services and the woman was ruthless. I was so upset that they didn't willingly offer us anything, including an upgrade. She asked me what she could do between champagne or strawberries to make me feel better after she was completely annoyed with our 40 min. Convo.
I finally said strawberries, although they were soggy and looked bad when they finally were delivered.
Pros
- food is very good and the workers in dining hall are amazing. The Chops Grille was our highlight and we should have booked there more nights!
-Bimini island was our fav and the resort and rooftop pool level 5 at the casino were incredible!!
- My massage was incredible, although so pricey. Book on the island days and its cheaper.
Cons
-So many excursions were canceled due to wind and cold weather. We didn't even stay over an hour at Coco beach and they canceled the hot air balloon ride.
I heard they cancel that one all the time!
-The lighthouse/beach at Nassau was neat, but the food was subpar and barely fed us.very crowded! If you want to swim with the pigs, then just book there at the beach cause its cheaper. Snorkeling and other excursions were canceled.
-Not much to do at Grand Bahamas except go to the crowded beach.
-Internet, drink, and alcohol package were ridiculous amount extra and we paid about $300.00 for one person to have coke products and bottled waters!!!
Alcohol package was almost as much as we paid for the cruise and they wont sell by just one day at a time.
- not many great shows and disappointed in the limited activities. I came so excited for lots of shows and was disappointed.
-The pool was incredibly crowded and the hot tub always had tons of kids unsupervised.
The adult area should say 18+ because the 16 year olds would hog up the one hot tub they had and pile about 14 of them in there and us older adults (Im in my 30s) would be forced out.
-The ship is so small that there is only one pool and one adult pool.
- I got sick 2 nights because the waves and turbulence on this small ship was insane.
I had to stay in my cabin and even though my hubby had the drink package, they wanted to charge me $14.00 for a ginger ale for room service.
My hubby and I were thankful to get away for a week because we both stay so busy at work, but we wont board Serenade again and honestly debating if we would even do another big ship through Royal Carribean after this experience! Our friends were about to book this ship, but we directed them to a different port and ship.

Totally disappointed
I am unable to get hold of an agent in the UK it appears that we need to bevUS citizens before we can cruise with RCIL

Horrible Customer Service!
DRoyal Caribbean had the wrong email and, without contacting us via phone or using another email provided, CANCELED our cruise since we missed payment. We were told there was nothing they could do as the cruise was sold out and they booked our cabin.
I have emailed and called and have received the worse customer service. I will never cruise with this company again.

Reservation no is 951**** when I booked it was mentions the room will be with my group on the 14th floor now I see my room in the third floor thats not acceptable room 3846 can u do your best to change it to the 14th floor as discussed waiting for ur reply thanks

Recent Trip
The whole thing is really set up for veteran RC cruisers. I hadnt been in about 10 years and had no idea I had to check in 45 days prior or lose all opportunity to book things.
Had no idea how to get my room keys (found out they should have been taped to my room) no idea how to complete the safety briefing that they claim is simple in the app and never got the soda cup Im sure I paid for.
Just so much inside info and inside trucks to doing this or that. There just isnt much room for somebody just wanting to get on board and have a good time.
Health issue.
The day I left the ship I noticed red, itchy bites on my body. A trip to my doctor revealed I had MITES.
I was asked about the bed I was sleeping in. My own or other. I mentioned I was in a RCCL cruise for aa week and that was the only change in my lifestyle. To this date I am still being treated and as a result of the bites I have damaged skin and red marks all over.
Also I have been informed that Mites lay eggs under your skin.
Not something my mind needs to live with at anytime. Please review your policy on preventative measures so a future passenger does not have to suffer as I am.

Cruise excursions.
Excursion do not appear on my calendar and caused me to double and triple book. Need to get it resolved.

No one was there to help have some one answer the phone. This is stupid why do we have to to write so much.
First, they did not get the name spelled right on Barbara Stanfield. It was spelled TanField. Then were not able to sign up for the excursions with the cyber Monday discounts because the credit card would not take it.
Weve been on the phone for the last four hours trying to get a hold of someone and no one has called us back. Please call us at 909-921-****.
Preferred solution: I want The name fixed and I want a discount on the excursions yes 55%
