Pissed Consumer Interviews ?
We booked a cruise to Cuba on Nov 3 leaving on Dec 4. On Nov 8 POTUS places new restrictions on travel to Cuba which would not allow us to leave the ship unless we bought on of RC excursions and had to stay with the group and guide the entire time. We were not free to walk around and not able to to business with over 180 businesses in Cuba. We wanted to switch our cruise, which by the way would have been more expensive and asked they credit towards the new cruise due to the sanctions. They advised us there would be a 75% cancellation fee and we would have to rebook. They won’t be getting any of my money and I have cancelled and contested the charge with my CC Co. There are plenty of other cruise lines that care about their customers. RC doesn’t!!!!
I booked my cruise on my EU paspoort and took my passport and US military ID with me. While checking in they told me I needed my green card to check in. I wasn’t aware of this as I booked my cruise on my passport. They weren’t willing to help me out in any way. They...Read more
I am one of hundreds of injured passengers who were forced to sail into a category 4 hurricane by the negligent Royal Caribbean Cruises. I suffered a broken leg when I was hit by a flying chair flung across the room as we all hung on for our lives. Everyone believed we...Read more

After a truly horrible cruise last Spring on the Serenade of the Seas (food poisoning, hair in my food, horrible service) I was given a certificate for a discount on a future cruise. I was extremely hesitant, however, my mother wanted to take a cruise to Cuba so I...Read more
My girlfriend and I are long time cruisers, usually on Carnival as we live in the Tampa Bay area. Recently we booked a Caribbean cruise with Royal Caribbean, based on the excellent ports (St. Croix in particular, as we had never been there) at a really good price, ten...Read more
I'll be cruising in about a week. They had to change ports due to hurricane, which we understand, however, the ports were really a downgrade. It was supposed to go to St Marteen, Puerto Rico, and Haiti. They substitude it with Nassau, Cozumel, and Costa Maya. Problem...Read more
Curious, but were you on the Allure of the Seas by chance?? If so, same thing happened to us...the itinerary had been changed earlier as well and we had booked our cruise as our Honeymoon Cruise...RC had told me on the first call that if THEY changed the itinerary,...Read more
Royal Caribbean - Worst customer service ever!
I paid $1900 for a 7 day cruise and airfare to get to the San Juan and home thru Royal Caribbean. Airline could not get me to the San Juan, so I couldn't get on the boat. They have offered a 75% voucher towards a cruise in the future, useless to me, can't even sell it because its only good for me. What a joke! I hope your boat sinks. *** bags!
