Just come back from a cruise on Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas. This was not my first cruise with Royal Caribbean but it was the worst holiday experience of my 56 years. The company has definitely reduced the quality of its product to the point where this now resembles a floating stag party complete with nightly rugby songs, disgusting food served on plastic plates and de-salinated water served in plastic glasses. We were allocated to table number 425 on Explorer of the seas 2nd November 2016 for the 8.30pm seating. When we arrived at our table it was full with the people from the 6.00pm dinner sitting as they wanted to watch the sail out from Sydney Harbour so came to our sitting. We had no table until 9.10pm. My luggage did not arrive at my stateroom 8473 so had to chase this up from 8.00pm until the early hours of the morning on the 2nd November on Explorer. I was told my luggage had be confiscated so go to deck one. Nothing on deck one back to guest relations who did not help me at all. eventually an older lady who needed to be taught customer service skills filled out a form for the missing luggage but said not to worry I could claim on travel... Cruising with RC since 2004. Used to be trustworthy for best pricing and refund for difference. Now we have been scammed twice in last year. Had to book earlier and earlier every year to get best price but now it seems they lower price after you make your final payment and will not allow you the refund. Fact 1. Just got back from 5-10 NOV 16 cruise. Royal Caribbean has so gone downhill. Seems they are very concerned with profits but not with customer satisfaction. Here are my issues: Bingo: Used to cost around $55 for five games, but now it costs the same for only 3 games. We used to play 2-3 times every cruise, which usually netted RC $216-324 because we used the automated machines. We played one game and will never play bingo with RC again. ... Read more

I was told by Royal Caribbean that once final payments were made, prices were frozen. Once on board, 1500 tickets were sold in Australia for 60% less than we paid for the Oct. 8/2016 transpacific cruise. All who paid double were pissed and told because we booked through an agent Cruise.com, there was no help available. Royal Caribbean (Liberty of the Seas specifically) is breaking multiple laws by charging an undisclosed price on calls originating from staterooms. I was told by 3 crew members that they have removed the telephone fee schedules from staterooms "quite a while ago". First day at the sail.to Cococay island and Nassau was Fantastic, due the storm was unsafe to outboard to go to the Private RC island. Seconda day as everthing fine, the Capitan night was perfect since I was celebrated my Girlfriend Birthday, but unfortunately at the lat night around 8:30pm when we left the cabin to go to the late dinning, i talk with the Cabin cleaning guy to take care our cabin and he complain he was tired due the long hours... We are not at all impressed with Royal Caribbean. We booked a cruise at Christmas from Sydney for our family and were supposed to be visiting 3 islands, after paying the full cost of the cruise we found out, not by anyone telling us, that they had changed the itinerary to now go to Port Kembla in Wollongong, not another Pacific Island. Very disappointing, I think this should have been mentioned to travelers before having to book and pay. I hope... Read more

We had an AWFUL time on the Anthem and are in the process of requesting our money back. The captain decided to try to BEAT the storm and we were tossed around like a Kleenex tissue. I was soooo sick. half the boat was sick. the only thing they did for us was offer us a free day of movie rentals since half the boat was sick. meanwhile on the Granduer of the Seas my friends air conditioning went out for a few hours and they got 50% off their next...
