I would describe them as the RMS Titanics upper class in 1912/.
Here is my Initial complaint
My story begins on the third morning of the cruise when my wife woke up with stomach pains and diarrhea we then visited the ship doctor where she diagnosed her with a bacterial infection possibly from the food? She was given a shot and some meds and they didn't seem to work ?. She was then confined to the room for 48 hrs we then experienced a toilet that wouldn't work and a smell that would be described as old goldfish bowl water it was making us both sicker".The room was disgusting and was not sanitized well'. Then we were told they had a special menu for her and called room service and they didnt know what we were talking about ,i ordered her some crackers and a plain turkey sandwich for 2 days,.after She started feeling better they still wouldn't let her out of room ,they called the room to talk to her to see if she didn't leave,that i understand but the room itself was a hazard to both of us and they didn't care whatsoever|.than on the day my wife was free from the room i myself started to get the same sickness in Mazatlan so i spent a 1/2 hr on shore and came back to the room then i spent 2 days in the room sick with probably was the norovirus/. I had the illness till the last day of the cruise .
The food well it says it all above ? but let me say that the first two days they took no precautions to prevent spreading of the viruses that have been going around several cruises lately. They only implemented them after 40-50 people were already sick on this cruise. They began to serve you and hand you a plate and silverware at the windjammer cafe because the illnesses were piling up quick .They were wiping things off with dirty dry rags ,many of the employees were lazy and were not using spray sanitizer at all .The last
day they lifted the restrictions and let people serve themselfs ,why so the next group of passengers can get a new wave of norovirus?
Food was worse than dorm food ,not cooked properly ,i asked for scrambled eggs and there was 2 tablespoons of grease all over them ,i asked for two eggs well and they were raw most all employees had fake smiles or the look on there face they just didn't care. The dining room well we ate there only two nights and it wasn't good,food was like a bad wedding dinner ,service was slow and disorganized with waiter and assistant waiter yelling at each other.
Also I took pictures of brown water coming out of the bathroom toilet and faucet and submitted them toAmex to request a refund of the cruise .
