A nightmare please be aware. I booked a cruise on freedom of the seas voyage 27527 07/24/16 three adults two were 75 years of age I purched a balcony deluxe state room two beds and a golf out sofa. When we arrived in the room there was no sleeper sofa I was told that they would pull down the upper bunk single bed with ladder well that doesn't work for a 75 year old I asked to change rooms and was told it was a full ship I would have to figure it... Went on a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas with Royal Caribbean on Majesty from July 11 to July 15th. The entire cruise except for the some of the food was a nightmare. This now will be my first and last cruise. My wife and I sailed on the Explorer of the Seas, on June 10th, from Seattle to Alaska, with five other friends. We all chose to play bingo, on the ship, and I actually won a game! Upon winning I gave my sea pass card to the bingo host and was told that the $128 prize money would be credited toward my onboard account. St.Petersburg being the focal point 2 day visit but with Passport control. If you booked your excursion with RCI you were let off the ship first...if you booked an Independent tour...which were cheaper and better and more comprehensive....you were made to sit in a dining room...forced to put a green sticker on and not allowed to move...vicious woman on guard.Their excuse was Russian passport control had decided this......COMPLETE... I have cruise with Royal Carribean 3 times. However, I have to honestly say I was very disappointed. My bathroom has mold, the room smell bad and it just look dirty. I complained to the front desk and it took for me to complain 3 time for them to do something about it. After the that, the staff was very rude toward me. Just sailed on Anthem of the Seas from May 28 to June 2nd from Bayonne NJ to Bermuda. All the hype is just for show. Customer service was extremely poor, food was mediocre, not sure about the main dining rooms, was unable to get a reservation for any on them. Unable to get a reservation for any of the shows either. I paid for 10 digital photos. received a USB drive with nothing on it, took it customer service after long lines and 3 times in line I was given a USB drive with nothing on it! HAD to leave the ship and now that I am home they answer my email with 'they will take care of it ASAP' then come back with their resolution - the phone number to the photo company and they tell me to call them. Travelled from the uk had duty free alcohol in our luggage. Were treated like criminals told us to go down 8 flights to tell us that they would confiscate the item which was fine. However they were not bothered to return our luggage to our room so we told them to ask the porter to bring it up. 10 hours later we still don't have our luggage.
